Momentos after an Amazon plane crossed the limits of the Miami International Airport runway in the United States, it was possible to hear one of the drivers exclaiming: “My career is over”.
On Sunday, a plane crash in Miami culminated in the death of five people.
The device crossed the boundaries of the track and eventually hit several vehicles that were parked or circulated near the site. It is known that all the fatalities would be occupants of these vehicles, with the two pilots escaping only with minor injuries.
Felipe Silva Molina, 37, and Joseph Carroll, 55, were identified on Tuesday.
After what happened, Abraham Altamar, a witness, tells him that he saw one of the pilots ask him for his cell phone and asked him to call his wife, telling her he was okay. He would, however, be visibly shaken and nervous, reports, quoted by CBS News.
The man will have asked the woman to tell her mother that he had an accident but that he was well and finally he will have exclaimed: “My career is over”.
It is not certain, however, which of the pilots led this situation or which of the two would be in charge of the device at the time of the tragedy.
According to both professional profile, Joseph Carroll is captain while Silva Molina is official.

“ Right now, our absolute priority is the safety, well-being and care of everyone involved. We are doing everything we can to support the affected,” the statement added.
