A Apple first reached the $5 billion mark in market value and is currently the most valuable company in the world. Despite this, the Apple Company is the second company to reach this level.
How do you remember site 9to5mac, the first company to reach the $5 billion mark was Nvidia in late October 2025.
Today, Apple is first in the table of most valuable companies in the world.
To underline that, just over a week ago, Apple had already managed to overcome Nvidia in this table, with the company (still) led by Tim Cook seeing the value of its shares increasing due to the way the company’s position in the field of Artificial Intelligence is being viewed.
“Apple has been seen to be late in the Artificial Intelligence race because it was not investing in model development, but now the feeling has changed”, explained to Reuters the investment manager of BRI Wealth Management, Toni Meadows. “Apple is less exposed to the intensity of capital expenditure and better positioned to rent Artificial Intelligence through services, ecosystem integration and hardware updates”.
Meadows notes that this reassessment “reflect confidence in the sustainability of profits” instead of a “ speculative valuation” as far as Artificial Intelligence is concerned.
It is important to remember that Apple will soon be without CEO Tim Cook, who will abandon the company's leadership. The position will be occupied by John Ternus and, given the experience in the field of hardware development, it is possible that we will see Apple exploring new ideas, concepts and, who knows, launching products that take more advantage of Artificial Intelligence.
