A saudi oil Aramco made a profit of $31.198 million in the third quarter of the year, more 9% than in the homologous period, despite the crisis triggered by Huthis forces' attacks on company infrastructure.
According to the result report released today by the Saudi company, the “improvement of results” was due to the rise in refined oil prices and chemicals, as well as to a higher volume of crude oil sales.
At the end of September, the crisis in Yemen worsened, leading to a series of Huthis attacks on Aramco's infrastructure, in response to the bombings that the pro-government alliance of Yemen, led by Riyadh, carried out against the country, mostly controlled by the Shia forces supported by Iran.
