Jesús de Miguel did not resist the injuries caused by the violent shock suffered at the meeting of the second Spanish division, between Tenerife and FC Andorra, and died at the age of 30.

O Tenerife announced, in the form of a statement issued through the official platforms, at the beginning of the morning of Tuesday, the death of Jesús de Miguel, a 30-year-old player who was in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the University Hospital Nuestra Señora de Candelaria, following the violent shock suffered during the meeting with FC Andorra.
“ Teared with pain, with a knot in the throat and unable to believe that this is true, from Tenerife, we communicate the tragic death, this Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at 08:00 [0700 in Continental Portugal], of Jesús de Miguel Alameda. There are no words of consolation; there is absolutely nothing that mitigates this feeling filled with sadness”, one can read.
“ We are together with your desolate family, together with your loved ones, together with all the tinerfenhism that today mourns for this cruel outcome. The family of Jesús de Miguel thanks each and every one of the demonstrations of support received, and asks, equally, heartily, for the utmost respect for their privacy in these terrible moments. Rest in peace”, he adds.
