A AT, at the “Digital Transformation in Heritage Taxes” session at the Ministry of Finance, listed the main results of the PRR’s investment in technological and operational modernization of the heritage area, including the strengthening of information systems in the area of heritage and technological support infrastructure and the pre-declarative completion of the IMI and the Seal Tax.
According to the entity, a “massive digitization of paper-based documentation associated with rustic matrices was carried out, promoting greater efficiency and accessibility”, which included promoting interoperability between public entities, such as the Institute of Mobility and Transport (IMT).
The same line was published today in Diário da República a ordinance that causes the citizen card to be associated with a technical code, which consists of a code issued and managed within the life cycle of the citizen card.
It is safeguarded that access and reading of the technical code of the card do not allow access to other data of the citizen card holder, only those authorized by the individual holder of the citizen card.
The Institute of Registration and Notariat (IRN) is now connected with the Agency for the Technological Reform of the State (ARTE), to whom it provides the technical code of the card.
“ The availability by ARTE, I.P. of the technical code of the card to third parties is carried out in accordance with applicable legislation, and it is up to ARTE, I.P., and third parties to ensure the technical means necessary for its interoperability”, reads in the note.
