A as it is being used, the surface of an induction plate may lose brightness when it is not cleaned properly. This is due to the accumulation of food waste, water limestone and cleaning products.
Experts have revealed to Martha Stewart's website how to remove them.
Why do the white spots appear on the induction plates?
These stains can have several causes. Here are the most common:
Metal contact
Matthew Morrison, a specialist in home appliances, points out that the most common cause is to move metal objects on top of the board.
This phenomenon occurs more frequently when copper or aluminium pots are used at high temperatures.
During this process, microscopic particles of metal bottom of the pan are transferred to the microscopic pores of the glass ceramic plate, giving rise to these spots.
Food waste
Cleaning professional Ashley Torres notes that white film may be the result of a combination of burnt food waste, limestone deposits and scraps of cleaning products. The ideal will be to clean the liquids as soon as possible.
Aggressive cleaning
The specialist in home appliances Ilaria Castagnoli states that these spots can be caused by small risks left by abrasive kitchen utensils or sponges and cleaning.
