A FXRS Engine can advance to purchase FBO Motors Sports. The Competition Authority (AdC) gives the green light to the business between two companies that are associated with luxury car brands in Portugal.
In a note published on its website, AdC indicated that it decided to “adopt a decision of non-opposition”, since “the notified concentration is not liable to create significant barriers to effective competition on the national market”.
“ The merger consists of the acquisition by FXRS Motor, S.A., a vehicle company controlled by XRS Holding SGPS, S.A. ('XRS'), control over the Commercial Establishment of FBO Motors Sports – Commerce and Repair of Automobiles, Lda. ('Trade Establishment')', reads in the file.
XRS integrates the XRS Group, which carries out activities of marketing, import, hire, maintenance and repair of motor vehicles and marketing of Porsche and Bentley brand parts and accessories, and insurance mediation.
The XRS Group has establishments in Porto, Braga and Aveiro.
Already fBO is dedicated to the marketing of new and used cars of the Ferrari brand and parts and accessories for them, as well as the provision of automotive repair and maintenance services, in Lisbon and in the Porto region.
