David Career completed 35 years of life last Thursday, July 30. The special date was celebrated this year in a different way, since the singer spent the day recording the new season of the show “The Voice Portugal”.
David Carreira was surprised by his mother, Fernanda Antunes, his father, Tony Carreira, his girlfriend, Carolina Carvalho, and his son, little Lucas.
With the chairs turned upside down, waiting for the entrance of another participant, the musician heard a voice that is familiar to send him a message of congratulations. David Career recognized herself as his girlfriend, actress Carolina Carvalho, and immediately stood up looking back.
On stage, the whole family waited for David for a tight hug. Mickael Career, who forms a team of mentors with his brother, joined this emotional moment.
The three-year-old Lucas, the result of his long-standing relationship with Carolina Carvalho, also had the opportunity to sit on the chairs of The Voice. On his father's lap the boy sang his congratulations and blew the candles of a cake that appeared behind the scenes so that David Career's 35 years would not pass blank.
“Thank you, The Voice Portugal family, for this surprise. I wasn't expecting it!
Being able to spend my birthday doing what I like most and, on top of that, surrounded by my family, made this day even more special. Thanks for being part of this moment, Fernanda Antunes, Tony Carreira, Mickael Carreira and Carolina Antunes”, wrote on social media, where she shared the images that show her reaction to surprise.
David Carreira and his brother, Mickael, formed for the first time a team of coaches on "The Voice Portugal". This will be a debut for David, who had never been part of the format. Mickael Carreira was mentored by several previous editions.
The new RTP1 talent competition season is being recorded and is expected to open soon.
