A battery management is one of the daily challenges in the life of any holder of a modern mobile phone and, with electronic devices being increasingly connected to each other, the Bluetooth connection also becomes increasingly necessary to make the “bridge” between different gadgets.

There are those who choose to have Bluetooth always activated and, on the other hand, who choose to turn on only when this connection is needed and turn it off as soon as possible – arguing that they do it to save battery.

However, is there real gains for battery autonomy to be constantly turning Bluetooth on and off the phone? Well, according to an analysis of android Authority websiteit seems to make little sense.

With the natural advancement of technology and improved energy efficiency of mobile phones at hardware and software level, it is natural that current mobile devices are even better at reducing the impact of Bluetooth connection on battery autonomy.

The convenience of having Bluetooth always enabled means you can connect your phone to the car, headphones and wireless speakers with fluidity, without constantly going to the settings panel to enable and disable this functionality.
