Ignored places in the kitchen that are full of fat and bacteria

At Daily Mail, cleaning expert Daniel Beadle revealed the places many people ignore in the kitchen at cleaning time. He explained why he should pay some attention to these points.

“ People tend to clean what they see immediately, like surfaces and the floor. But it is the hidden or less obvious areas that usually accumulate more dirt, fat and bacteria ", started by saying.

‘When the weather gets warmer, any dirt you have missed can start to smell, attract pests or simply make the whole kitchen look less fresh,” he continued.

1- Upper parts of cabinets
“ One of the most neglected places in any kitchen is just above the line of sight. The top of the cabinets is usually untouched for months and even years. The fat particles in the kitchen rise and deposit over time, mixing with the powder. The result is a sticky layer much more difficult to clean if it stays for a long time.”

2- Lockers
“ Although most people remember cleaning closet doors, handles are often forgotten or cleaned less carefully. These are some of the most contact points in the kitchen. They are constantly touched throughout the day, often with hands that have been in contact with food.”

3- Inside drawers and cabinets
“ Spring cleaning usually involves a quick tidying up inside the closets, but rarely a deep cleaning. People can remove objects and rearrange them, but they don't always clean surfaces properly. ‘Matches, drops and packaging waste can accumulate in corners. It is these small areas that are easy to ignore, but make a big difference in cleaning the kitchen.”

4- Exhausts and filters
“ Exhausts are one of the components that most work in the kitchen, but also one that is less clean. They're constantly vacuuming fat, steam, and suspended particles in the air. All this builds up in the filter over time. If not verified, it can reduce the performance of the equipment. You may notice that your kitchen becomes moist or smells stronger after cooking. If this happens, it is a sign that the exhaust needs to be cleaned.”

5- Under the appliances
“Accumulating waste can affect more than just cleaning. It can affect the efficiency of the functioning of appliances and, in some cases, even create odors that are difficult to identify.”

6- Refrigerator rubbers and other household appliances
“ As they get a little hidden, people don't always realize the accumulation of dirt. But over time, this can affect the hygiene and even the proper functioning of the household appliance.”
