Carolina Deslandes and Diogo Clemente recently celebrated the anniversary of their first son in common between them. Santiago completed 10 years of life on 23 June.
Speaking of this special date, Diogo Clemente shared a reflection on the uncertainties that he and his former partner, Carolina Deslandes, had when little Santiago was diagnosed at the age of two with a spectrum of autism.
“About eight years ago Carolina Deslandes and I thought what this day would be like. Would you? Would you? Do you have any friends? Would you be happy? Thanks to us, a beautiful family, a very rich set of friends and professionals, but above all thanks to their ability to break barriers and win peace, we have reached the present day”, he began to highlight.
“The unknown brings fear. And that only doubles how amazing and inspiring it is to live every day from this path to the two digits. I always feel that he's the one who polished me, he's the one who fed me new, big, beautiful things to this day. And we got here like this, when we were 10 years old, 6'2" and wearing 39. You talk more than you should, you know a lot more than I do, you read whole books, you light up space and you occupy it. And above all, he is happy.”
In his words, the musician Diogo Clemente gathered a video that shows the charisma and joy of little Santiago. Now, look
