“As a baby, my parents put cigarette butts out on my belly”

O competitor Micael from “Married to First View” went to the program “Happy House” talk about his experience in this challenge. The PT married Bruna and the empathy between the two was momentary. 

But the professional had a secret about his life that he eventually shared with the bride: he was adopted. 

To the conversation with Diana Chaves and João Baião, Micael shared more of her life story with very harsh moments. 

“ I was removed by the court from my parents because of circumstances, not only health, also mistreatment, and I was in a foster care center, I don't know the exact dates. I can tell you I chose my parents. My parents when they entered the foster center, I went to cling to them. They're the only people I've held onto and had interaction with since I was little. I began to have a life with them, they are my parents ", started counting. 

Micael explained that “it has no connection with biological parents”, it has only in its possession “medical and legal records”. 

“I never met them. I am more interested in understanding where I come from, not exactly from the people themselves [...] I was removed by situations of abuse, abuse”, he said.  

The personal trainer recalled even more complicated episodes with which he lived. 

Micael suffered mistreatment from her biological parents

“ I have a little scar on my belly. My parents put cigarette butts out on my belly”he confessed. 

Michael also gave an example of how these episodes later marked him in life.

“Moving on to my teens, I could be at a party, a lot of fun and a spectacular energy, and if a cigarette approached me, my body would get tensed and I could never figure out why, I'd be on alert. [...] until later, with the psychologist, I realized it was a direct reaction of the body”he confessed.
