O does your phone always warn you that your storage space is full and that you need to clean what you have stored in your device? If so, we now get you some tips that can help you eliminate what you don't really use, instead of spending so much time reviewing the photographs or documents you think are responsible for this accumulation of data on your phone.

The tips are from the New York Times, which begins by remembering that the first step is to get rid of all the pre-installed applications that you probably never use and which often cause confusion in the organization of your mobile device.

The same publication recalls that these installations vary according to the mobile phone model and the manufacturer of the hardware, operator or even operating system. In addition, there is the fact that there are even applications that are impossible to erase, but... there is always a chance to hide them.

Here is a quick guide to simplify your application collection — including those you installed, but never use:

Step 1: Find them

You can start by making a list of all the apps you have on your phone. For this, you can use the storage tools that not only tell you what applications you have, but the storage space each one is occupying on your device.

2. Delete them

By sliding through the iPhone Storage menu, you can delete unwanted applications by sliding or pressing the app name. Then choose Uninstall (which deletes the application but preserves your personal data) or Delete (that removes everything). You can also delete apps from the iPhone home screen or Apps Library.

3rd If you don't delete it... turn it off

There are pre-installed applications that are not possible to delete, but in these cases you can always disable or archive them.

This prevents them from running in the background and using system features, it also prevents updates and hides your icon. Option File removes the application, but keeps the icon and personal data on your device. Just reinstall the app so it works again.
