ANDhow long are you spending inside your car? A recently published study suggests that the portuguese drivers are the most inside your car throughout the year.

The overall work, commissioned by the British Autotrader, shows that Portuguese motorists pass, on average, more than 12 days a year inside the car. They are almost six hours a week.

The authors of the study asked drivers from 15 countries to tell how much time they spend inside their cars on normal trips – not only pendular, but also for social meetings, walks or taking children to school.

The Portuguese then spend 5:50 minutes a week inside your car, which means, 12 days and 15 hours year. Portugal thus occupies, the ninth global place of a ranking led by South Africa.

In that country, drivers pass 23 days and one hour a year inside your cars. It's 10:38 a week. Next is Ireland (16 days) and Australia appears in third (15 days and 11 hours).

In front of Portugal, apart from Ireland, there are two other European countries: Italy and Greece, fifth and sixth respectively. Spain appears in tenth, with an average of 11 days and 17 hours spent by drivers inside cars on journeys every year.

At the opposite pole of the table, the United Kingdom (10 days and 10 hours per year) and the Netherlands (10 days and one hour) are the countries where drivers spend less time in their cars.

What you leave in the car can attract thieves

The alert is GNR. There are objects that should not be left in sight in the car, especially in the most moving areas this summer. Even if it is for a short time, the consequences can be expensive.
