The organization of the Bliss Vibes festival, created in 2016 in Vila Franca do Campo, on the island of São Miguel, in the Azores, announced an “indeterminate pause”, alleging lack of conditions to continue the event.

“ Aafter a careful analysis of the current context, the organization concluded that the necessary conditions are not met to ensure continuity of the event in the standards of quality, innovation and ambition that have always characterized the project ", said the organization, in a statement.
Created in 2016 and resumed in 2022, the festival was affirmed, according to the promoters of the event, as “a differentiating cultural project”, which intended to contribute to the “diversification of the entertainment offer in the Azores and to the promotion of Vila Franca do Campo as a destination for cultural and tourist experiences”.
“Publishing after editing, the festival grew, presented new concepts, welcomed artists from different areas and provided striking moments to thousands of participants. From concerts to comedy shows, from sunsets to multiple experiences created within the enclosure, Bliss Vibes built its own identity and gained a prominent place with the public, partners and local community”, the organizers advanced.
The festival makes an “indeterminate pause”, but the organization keeps open “the possibility of a future return, if the appropriate conditions for its implementation may exist”.
“ Despite this pause, there remains a legacy built throughout several editions: the memories created, the meetings provided, the artists who went through the festival, the teams involved, the partners, suppliers and all those who helped transform an idea into a project recognized and cherished by the public ", pointed out the resonable.
In the statement announcing the pause, the organization stressed that “a festival of this dimension depends on the trust and commitment of partners, sponsors and entities who believe in their vision”.
“ Throughout its journey, Bliss Vibes had the fundamental support of various organizations and institutions, to which the organization expresses its deep gratitude. The decision to stop the festival was made with a huge sense of responsibility and represents a particularly difficult time for all who contributed to the project’s growth,” he added.
In 2025, they passed through Bliss Vibes, which took place from July 17-19, names like Pedro Sampaio, Ornatos Violeta, Richie Campbell and Taxi.
