“ Para the year we maintain the realization of the Marés on the third weekend of July, i.e. 16, 17 and 18′′, said Jorge Lopes.

As for next year’s poster, the person responsible said that he has been working on it for a long time and will soon be able to announce “names of great artists”.

“ We would have announced now during the festival, but it was not possible, but very soon we will have some great news there ", assured.

Jorge Lopes said that the festival will continue in the same register, that is, to present national and international artists that please different generations because that is their DNA.

The 19th edition of the festival received about 100,000 people during the three days, revealed.

PEV Entertainment organized since 2007 the Marés Vivas festival in Vila Nova de Gaia, where it had several locations, from the beach of Cabedelo, the old cod drought and, in the last four years, the old campsite of Madalena.

But this year, and after a disagreement with the Vila Nova de Gaia House on the relocation of the festival, PEV Entertainment moved to Matosinhos and removed the ‘Vivas’ from the name.

Due to this change, this year’s edition could be more difficult, but the balance is “very positive”, he said.

“ We are really surprised, both by the scenario we managed to set up, by the great musical moments, but, above all, by the adherence and trust of the public ", he said.

The executive president of ENP Entertainment confessed to having been “something apprehensive” with all the issues that involved the change of venue, but people’s response “was great.”.

Jorge Lopes also pointed out that the continuity of the festival in Matosinhos is ensured for the next few years because the place is “great”, as well as the relationship with the municipality, and the adherence of people was “incredible”.

“ We are excited about this place and it is to continue ", reinforced.

The idea for the next editions is to grow, both in terms of stocking, space and structure, stressed.

In addition to the concerts, the festival owners also had the possibility to walk on a Ferris wheel or slide across the grounds.

The venue is adapted to people with conditioned mobility and concerts have interpretation in Portuguese Sign Language and vibration vests for deaf people.

“ We just want the enclosure to be sufficiently prepared so that no one has any problems in accessing it, that is, we want it to be for everyone, the goal is that all people can experience the festival in its fullness ", signaled.

During the three days, the Marés festival received more than 30 artists and bands on the four stages, on a poster that included Da Weasel, James, Seal, Calema, Neighbors, Plutonium, Myke Towers and Ozuna.
