Barkat said that “there has never been an increase in memory prices like what we are going through right now”. For example, the executive pointed to Morgan Stanley's data indicating that 1GB of RAM, which cost $2.80 in 2025, went on to cost $12 in 2026.
The executive explained that Google has been searching “to protect consumers from [price] supply fluctuations for as long as possible”however “the economy has changed” and that the company “not immune” to those effects.
Therefore, Barkat said that all devices in the Pixel 11 series – which should include four models – will have “adjustments” price.
Despite these increases, it is believed that Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, the Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold will be available with minimum storage capacity of 256GB – which means the 128GB option is no longer present.
