Harold Tavares defends employment as an investment criterion in Africa

World Bank Executive Director Harold Tavares today advocated job creation as a criterion for successful investments and policies in Africa, opening the second Lusophone Africa Investment Forum in Cape Verde. The biggest challenge on the continent, according to Tavares, is to create sustainable jobs, as Africa's largest asset is in people.
