Um year after the film premiere, the successful film “Hotel Amor” will be broadcast on the public channel, RTP1.
The station announced the premiere of the project, a “comedy, full of chaos, mystery and twists, starring Jessica Athayde” in an antenna already on July 1 (next Wednesday) at 10:30 p.m. on RTP1.
Jessica is the great protagonist of this project that joins other names that sound like Julia Palha, Vera Moura, Margarida Corceiro, Francisco Froes, Igor Regalla, Lucas Dutra, Cléo Malulo and Brazilian actor Marcelo Adnet.
The story of “Hotel Love”
“ In “Hotel Amor”, we accompany Catarina (Jéssica Athayde), 41 years old, a workaholic and highly competent manager who runs the traditional and busy Hotel Amor. Intelligent, proactive and used to solving problems with creativity, Catarina dedicated her whole life to the hotel. Despite years of delivery and dedication, their position is called into question when the hotel is sold to a new administration. Under pressure, Catherine is forced to prove herself as a leader, while trying to maintain order between a disorganized team and eccentric guests from the four corners of the world. And, as if everything were not enough, he finds a former love of school times, now guest of the hotel, which will awaken long-sleeping feelings. Can Catherine survive this endless day?”, read in the synopsis sent by RTP1.
This film addresses several important themes today. “Speak a picture of Europe today, which welcomes increasingly diverse cultures, while addressing issues such as mutual respect and gender equality.”.
“Hotel Amor” premiered in the cinemas on June 19, 2025 and became the “Portuguese film most viewed of the year on its debut day”.
