O Itinerary Complementary 1 (IC1) was now cut to traffic, about 9:45 a.m., in the Grândola district of Setúbal, due to a collision between a truck and an automobile, revealed a source of Civil Protection.
The source of the Subregional Emergency and Civil Protection Command of Alentejo Coastal indicated to the agency Lusa that the accident, for which it was alerted at 9:12 a.m., occurred in the section of the IC1 near the locality of Canal Skull.
At 9:45, there was still no information on the number of victims and their state.
The rescue operations mobilize the Grendola Firefighters, the National Institute of Medical Emergency (INEM) and the GNR, with a total of 24 operations, supported by six vehicles and a helicopter.
