ANDapril, the Netherlands gave the motto. Since then, a total of six european countries approved the fully automated driving system (FSD) Supervised tesla.

The most recent to do so is now Slovenia, revealed the manufacturer on social network X (old Twitter): “The FSD Supervised has now been approved in Slovenia. The availability will begin soon.”.

And there's no doubt about approval. The Slovenian Minister for Energy and Infrastructure, Jernej Vrtovec, shared the original publication and wrote: “Developing Slovenia”.

For now, fSD system approvals Supervised Tesla for public roads are only at national level. In addition to the Netherlands and Slovenia, the automated driving of Tesla has also been approved by Lithuania, followed by Estonia, before Denmark and Belgium.

A European Union prepares to vote on the possibility of Community-wide approval, in a vote that according to Reuters can take place already on 6 October.

The matter may not be unanimous. France, for example, began testing two cars with these functions last week, but in July it was concerned about safety.

FSD is different from an autonomous car. Why?

The FSD system allows the car to drive almost alone, but does not mean that the car is 100 percent autonomous as is the case with a robotaxi. It requires the human driver to be on board and always alert and ready to intervene, always actively monitoring his level of attention.

It is able to control the direction, speed, acceleration and braking, as well as to navigate the car or even make track and parking changes. This in or out of the cities. He is able to make important decisions (such as stopping in front of red lights, recognizing walkers, pedestrians and cyclists) and dismiss the driver from several driving tasks constantly. It is assumed to be “seven times safer for a human driver”.

This car only had 1 sale in August, but it's the best seller of the year

The Tesla Model 3 is among the five best-selling models in Portugal this year, but it suddenly broke in sales in the last two months – with four copies.
