Fyou were ill and you don't know the reasons? He may have touched something. In addition to Covid, many other diseases can be transmitted by touching surfaces. Thus, it is important that you wash your hands after touching some things. Experts alert three key points.
“Most gastrointestinal and respiratory infections spread when contaminated hands touch the eyes, nose or mouth” began by telling Gastroenterologist Supriya Rao to the HuffPost blog aggregator.
Wash your hands thoroughly
Soon putting alcohol gel on your hands helps to avoid some problems. “There are surfaces that are dirtier than we thought” continued. The best thing is to wash your hands thoroughly after touching these three things.
1- Payment or ATM terminals
“To type the pin, you need to press the keyboard, and this pressure is enough to leave a large amount of microbes in your hands. As there is such a large turnover of people, anyone who has not washed their hands or not washed them properly will leave germs on the keyboard,” says microbiologist Jason Tetro. Besides Covid the expert says that salmonella can also be transmitted in this way.

2- Shopping carts and baskets
“ People do not always touch the bottom of the cart, but they will certainly touch the handles if they need to push it or carry a basket. Therefore, shopping carts and grocery baskets are common sources of germs. It’s the thing people ignore most, because they don’t think about it, because they’re too focused on buying food.”
3- Cell phones
“Take your phone everywhere, to the supermarket, bathroom, plane or gym. And how often do you really clean it up? The phone is the dirtiest surface people touch and that you should have them wash your hands after you use it. Ideally, wash your hands before using and try to sanitize it several times during the week.”
