Afosso Pimentel was among the audience who attended the Linkin Park concert at Rock in Rio Lisboa on Sunday, June 21, and then made a point of sharing his opinion on his Instagram page.
Opinions about the band continuing after Chester Bennington's death and having Emily Armstrong as lead singer. However, especially after the concert, Afonso Pimental praised the performance of the singer.
“26 years ago I listened to Linkin Park on the car’s CD. 26 years later I'm on the grid with my wife and kids listening to them”, he started writing the actor in the Instagram publication.
Chester's not coming back. And you still talk about him because he was bigger. Noah, three years old, after seeing a live clip, still learning what was real fiction, asked me: «Daddy, is he real or is he a Super Hero?» I told him both. Yesterday [June 21,], it was amazing to see Emily Armstrong giving it all away. There's a lot more to give. And that was enough for us. I've earned my respect and admiration for her. And seeing my children enjoying, without comparison was a lesson for me and a reality for them”, shared.
“Some people don’t like it. I don't like beans either. Do as I do, put on the edge of the dish ", commented yet.
“Wonderful Emily. Thanks for the memories. And thank the LP security that offered two pins of the band to the hardcore kids leaning against the grid ", concluded.
