“It is with great sadness that Sam Neill’s family shares the news of his death this Monday, July 13, in Sydney, Australia,” they began by saying in a publication that was made on social networks.
“Sam was surrounded by his family and died with the dignity that characterized his whole life. The loss was sudden and unexpected, but blessed that Sam remained cancer-free. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the team of St Vincent’s Private Hospital for the incredible care,” they added. The cause of death has not yet been revealed.
Before they finished they promised to reveal “more details later.” “But for now, on behalf of the family, we ask you to respect your privacy while you are beautiful with this great loss.”.
