Athere was an unexpected incident during World War 2026 involving the Spanish royal family, more specifically Princess Leonor.
All this was discovered by journalist Luis Rendueles, specializing in police occurrences, who released the story through the Iberian Prensa group.
In the internal reports of the IPCC (the FBI-led police command center during the championship), there is one that showed the arrest record of a man who tried, although he failed, to meet the princess of Asturias in a place where she actually never was.
In the testimony of this man, present in the documents, he says that he needed to see the eldest daughter of Letizia and Felipe “emergency” because “he would marry her”.
According to the journalist's report, everything will have happened in a hotel in Houston, Texas, where this man, over fifty years old, was caught asking several times what Leonor's whereabouts were.
That's when the IPCC agents photographed him, investigated him, and eventually stopped him. The investigation found that this was not Spanish and suffered from mental problems. This incident was recorded as a minor occurrence within the security scheme.
Remember that the Spanish royal family was present during some moments of the competition, particularly in the final when “La Roja” won Argentina and became world champion.
