Didn't RJ Mitte's fiancée get invited to last goodbye? Actor's mother reacts

Nthe sequel to the death of RJ Mitte, the international press addressed the speculations of an alleged disagreement between the family and the bride of the actor, Kennedy Suarez.

TMZ reported that Kennedy Suarez was not invited to the ceremony in memory of the actor, which the family held last October 16 in Brownsville, Texas.

Among those attending the celebration were the castmate of “Breaking Bad”, Luis Moncada, his brother Daniel Moncada, RJ’s agent and press advisor Nedda Soltani. Family members, including Dyna, RJ's grandmother, and her sister, Lacianne Carriere were also present.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, which was held hours after the ceremony, the actor’s mother, Dyna Mitte, said that “there are things that are private and that are not for her to tell.”.

“I don’t know all the conversations between the two,” he added after being asked about whether he wanted to clarify the speculations. “I can say that there were difficulties, but these conversations were private between RJ and me and between him and his friends.”

“Suárez moved in December and since then only three or four times had been seen. I don't know what they talked about after she moved in. I hadn't talked to her about not coming to the funeral. She had asked one of RJ's friends the day I met my son, but then we didn't even know what was going on. No plans had been made. That’s all I can say on the subject,” he added. 

RJ Mitte proposed to Kennedy Suarez in October 2025 after they started dating five years ago. At the time, the actor said he was “enchanted” because “he had found his soul mate, his life companion who made him want to be better”.

But this was not the first time that the actor's mother, Dyna, spoke about the relationship between RJ's family and his fiancée. In conversation with NBC News, in an interview that was published on October 15, Dyna said she did not know what the status of her son's relationship with the bride was. 

“ We're a very close and close family, and that was weighing you very much. And I will not go into details about why this ultimatum was given, because, once again, it was not something I could control,” said Dyna when she was questioned about the allegations of an ultimatum. 

And he said he encouraged his son to marry. However, he does not fail to recognize that “he may have felt divided”.
