The 32nd edition of the Festival Paredes de Coura starts today with Kneecap and Wet Leg on the main stage and lasts until Saturday with bands such as Underworld, M.I.A., Bloc Party and Amyl and The Sniffers.

Thundercat, Hermanos Gutiérrez, Patrick Watson (piano solo), Benjamin Clementine and CMAT are others of the poster heads of the festival that takes place in the town of Paredes de Coura, in the district of Viana do Castelo.
Through the main stage of the festival, next to the river beach of Taboão, Westside Cowboy (17:25) and First Breath After Coma + Salvador Sobral (19:15) will also pass today
On Thursday, it is the turn of The Girl No (17h00), Aldous Harding (19h00), Kurt Vile & The Violators (21h00), followed, on Friday, Carolina During (16h55) and Sérgio [Godinho] & The Advisors with Friends (18h40).
On Saturday, from the festival's natural amphitheater, it will be possible to see and hear Patrick Watson on solo piano (17h10), Cate Le Bon (18h55) and MEUTE (20h45).
Through the Walls of Leather also pass Aldous Harding, Kurt Vile & The Violators, Pale Jay, Joy Orbison, The Horrors, Maruja, Wu Lyf, Getdown Services, Show Me The Body, Bassvictim, Ryan Davis & The Roadhouse Band, Sophia Stel, Hudson Freedman, as well as Marie Davidson DJ Set, Captain Fausto, Noiserv and Milhanas, among others.
The festival of Paredes de Coura took place for the first time in 1993, on the initiative of a group of friends – of which was part Vitor Paulo Pereira, mayor for three terms, until October 2025 -, who wanted to organize an event dedicated to independent rock.
