O trackhouse driver finished the race with 2,538 seconds of advantage over fellow countryman Jorge Martín (Aprilia), second ranked, and 3,393 over Italian Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia), who completed the podium at Silverstone.
Raúl Fernández, who left the second place of the grid, took over the command still at the start, benefiting from the problems felt by the holder of the pole position, Jorge Martín, whose motorbike height regulation device did not shut down in the first curve.
After falling into the Saturday sprint race, Fernández imposed a rhythm that the opponents could not keep up with and built a sufficient advantage to control the race until the chess flag, winning the first triumph of the season.
Martín, winner of the sprint race, recovered from the setback at the start and reached second place, while Bezzecchi finished third, after overcoming Álex Márquez (Ducati) in the final phase of this Sunday's race.
Álex Márquez still played the podium, but a mistake in the last laps relegated the Spanish to fourth position, to 4,702 seconds from the winner.
Also Spanish Pedro Acosta (KTM) was fifth, to 6,256 seconds, immediately ahead of Italian Fabio Di Giannantonio (Ducati), sixth, while world champion Marc Márquez (Ducati) did not go beyond seventh place, to 9,550.
The race was marked by several falls and abandons, including those of the Japanese Ai Ogura (Aprilia), second-ranked championship to the entrance for this race, and the Italian Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati), champion in 2022 and 2023.
Also Joan Mir (Honda), Enea Bastianini (KTM), Alex Rings (Yamaha), Iker Lecuona (Ducati) and Cal Crutchlow (Honda) did not finish the race.
With the second place and the abandonment of Ogura, Jorge Martín strengthened the leadership of the World Cup, adding 240 points. Marco Bezzecchi ascended to the second post, with 209, followed by Ogura, with 203, and Marc Márquez, with 200.
The next round of the MotoGP World Championship will be the Aragon Grand Prix in Spain from 28 to 30 August.
