Rock NO Rio Fevers exceed 40,000 viewers and returns in 2027

“Tthe Rock in Rio Febras closed its fifth edition. But the message that it is possible to culture with the heart and support those who need it will continue to sound very loud ", indicated today the organization of the festival that raised funds for the social valences of the local People's House.

On Quinta da Ponte, bands such as The Last Internationale, Them Flying Monkeys Clan, Blind Zero, Dapunksportif, The Twist Connection, the Australian band Wolfmother and still artists from Vimaran as This Penguin Can Fly, Noise At Valve and Run Andar.

“In Febras, our structure is different. We don't have sponsors, we have friends. We are deeply grateful to our partners who are associated with this solidarity cause, exchanging the mere commercial return for worthwhile principles and objectives, which remain. Thank you for aligning your strength to ours and walking with us”, thanked the organization.

The music festival, which takes place on the banks of the river Febras, in the municipality of Guimarães, district of Braga, reached a national dimension in 2023, after Rock in Rio Lisboa notified the so-called Rock in Rio Febras to change its name, claiming improper use of the brand and unfair competition, becoming Rock NO Rio Febras.

This year Febras joined Guimarães 26: European Green Capital.

It was living proof that when the community comes together for a genuine cause, miracles are created. We finished another edition with a full heart, with a clean soul. What we lived and witnessed at our Quinta da Ponte was not just another edition of a festival. It was a manifesto of love, pure communion and living proof that the world can be a better place”, writes the organization.
