Harry Shearer has been giving voice to the mythical characters “The Simpsons” for over 30 years, but recently in an interview with the British newspaper The ihe revealed that... he doesn't follow the show.
The revelation came in ‘answer’ to a comment by journalist Shaun Curran that the 1990s episodes had ‘olded well’. The answer was appropriate: “I don’t know. I didn’t see it.”.
As for the fact that the series is still often on the air, the answer was more enthusiastic. “That’s what I hear! But it’s good to hear you say that,” Shearer said.
Harry Shearer, remember, is the voice of, among other characters, Mr. Burns, Waylon Smithers, Ned Flanders and Skinner. Your favorite, he confessed, is Mr. Burns, the richest man in Springfield: “Pure wickedness is always better. When you interpret it, it is a blessing”.
‘On the air’ since 1989, “The Simpsons” is currently in season 37.
