Lreleased in June 2023 for PlayStation consoles, Xbox consoles and PC consoles, “Diablo IV” seems to be on its way to another console – Nintendo Switch 2.
It is said that dealabs website who, from an information leak, states that “Diablo IV” has arrived at Nintendo’s latest console in September. There is no associated release date, but it is reported that the release is aimed at the third week of next month.
Even if we don't have a release date yet, it is known that the game will cost €69.99 and that it will be available in a digital version in Switch 2. “Diablo IV” will also be sold in stores but instead of a cartridge, inside can only be found a code to download the game.
It should be remembered that since “Diablo IV” was released three years ago, two expansions have been released for the game – “Vessel of Hatred” in October 2024 and “Lord of Hatred” in April 2026.
It is not clear whether any of these expansions will be included in the purchase of “Diablo IV” but, at the very least, should be available at Switch 2’s virtual store on the same day as the game.
It should be noted that this information is still in the domain of rumors and has not yet been confirmed by Nintendo or Blizzard.
However, given that Switch 2 has received multiple versions of games already released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series and also some games at the same time as Sony and Microsoft consoles, it is highly likely that it will also be able to receive “Diablo IV” in the coming times.
