Over half a million Toyota Camry and almost 50,000 Tacoma are being called to the workshop in the United States of America. The “recalls” have recently been announced and are due to different problems.

A Toyota is calling the workshop in the United States of America over half a million Camry of the model years 2025 and 2026 of the four-door berlin. Also the pick-up Tacoma is being called “recall” in that country, with almost 50,000 units potentially affected by a defect.
According to the brand, about 508,000 vehicles are involved. The motive? An instrument panel problem seven inches, which “can be left blank when turning on the vehicle”, deactivating the flashing lights and the four flashing lights in addition to some sound warnings – including non-use of seat belts.
You can read in the note that “if any necessary information is not displayed in the instrument panel, if the flashing lights/four flashes do not work or if certain sound warnings do not activate, there may be a increased risk of injury or accident depending on the situation“.
The correction of the problem will be done through a free update of the instrument panel software by dealers.
Toyota Tacoma also with problems
Still in America, toyota announced the collection for repair of about 48,000 copies of Tacoma of model years 2024 and 2025. In this case, the defect is the possibility of corrosion lead the oil deposit of shock absorbers to loosen up.
If that happens, the risk of accident or injury to other road users increases. The affected cars will be inspected by the dealers and the affected shock absorbers will be replaced free of charge by others of better quality.
