A last edition of “Married to First View” ended last Sunday. For history became one of the couples who renewed the vows and maintained the relationship, the polemics and a phrase that became mythical. Echoed by Carlos Jorge in almost every episode, “goes me way down” became one of the phrases of the program leading to several comic moments along the galas and episodes. Now it's a T-shirt and you can buy it online.
Carlos was one of the guests of the broadcast on Thursday of the program “Casa Feliz” of SIC. He arrived with a white integral look and a T-shirt that caught the attention of João Baião. “What is this? It says, ‘I’m going down too low’,” the host asked.
“I’m going very low”: Now in t-shirt
That was the phrase that could be read in the T-shirt Carlos wore. It was written in the chest area inside a balloon identical to what we see in comic books or when we want to represent a thought.
“I want to thank Ruben who was what idealized this sweater,” Carlos said after a set of thanks he did after sitting on the couch. “ Look that is very well, it is very cute ", said Diana Chaves.

The T-shirt was created by humorist Ruben White and is sale at the online store Popstore. “The required piece to not go too low”, reads in the description of the piece. It is available in white and in sizes S, M, L, XL and XXL. It's 19.90 euros. Ports are free from 40 euros.
We talked to Carlos's T-shirt maker
The idea of Ruben Branco appeared during a video that he recorded for social networks. “It was just a fluke. During a video for my YouTube channel I mentioned that it was amazing to have a T-shirt saying ‘goes very low’. The next day a boy who watches my videos and who is a designer sent me some options and I forwarded this to the Popstore people who made it all possible. Deep down, I'm lucky to have people around me as dumb as I am,” says Lifestyle to Minute exclusively.
The humorist explained that in his channel he analyzed the various episodes and that's why Carlos' sentence was never forgotten. “I was doing commentary videos and analysis of the Married weekly, and in order to ensure that I would not leave out any relevant details for the development of the program, I had to see the episodes all: 96 episodes, more than 100 hours of Married. Not counting the additional hours of writing, recording and editing. Everything together spends 200 hours. In a way, I feel like I'm part of some of those relationships.”
For now, the shirt is only for sale blank. It does not rule out the possibility of having other shades, but white was always the initial idea. “The piece was not thought of as a piece of clothing to wear on a day-to-day basis, but, almost as if of an object of ‘memorabilia’ of the phrase and a program that the people saw with me for months.”
As for more ideas, something with Quinita and her new image has already been thought, but for now it stays in the drawer. “I loved [doing something with Quinita’s image]! Often there are ideas that don't advance just because I think it might get too much, but with Quinita she loved doing one of those holographic pictures that when we moved it, she changed her face pre and face put interventions. With a painting like that, Carlos wouldn’t go too far.”
Carlos’ polemics in “Married to First View”
Carlos’ participation in the program “Married to the First View” began immediately wrapped in controversy with the competitor to omit the true age. “I am 76 years old. There's a machine where you measure metabolic age and it's 66. Omit because of this situation”, revealed to the guests and the bride, Quinita, already at the altar.
The two relationships you had throughout your experience didn't go well. Carlos even made derogatory comments about Quinita and Paula. “[The Quinita] talks with her mouth full with her dentures and then she has this very thin chin, she laughs in a loud, dumb way,” she said about minutes after being found with the bride. Paula commented on how she lived at home with dogs among other situations.
