HwhatsApp has been working on the implementation of user names in the application of messages for some time as a way to provide more security and privacy among the more than three billion people using the communication platform.

The possibility of booking the username at WhatsApp is available from Monday, day 29, so that “everyone has the opportunity to choose the most important user name”.

To create and reserve your username you should only go to Definitions, access Account and enter into Username, where you can choose a name that has between 3 and 40 characters – respecting, of course, the rules defined by WhatsApp.

The idea is not only to help WhatsApp users avoid sharing their data with unknowns, but also to prevent public figures or known personalities from being the target of attempted forgery. In this way, it may be easier to detect any scams.
