Limpar the shower cabin can be a headache, since the water marks reappear easily. However, did you know that there is a homemade mix that solves this problem?
The ‘receive’ is the page Tips for Your Home.
The mixture takes:
• 100 ml of alcohol
• 100 ml alcohol vinegar
• 100 ml of water
• 2 tablespoons of detergent
Then just apply these liquids to a sprayer, shake well before use and apply on dry glass. Let it work for a few minutes and then rub it with a soft sponge or microfiber cloth.
The last step is to rinse with water and clean with a dry cloth or swirl.
The page also gives a hint to keep the windows of the shower cabin always clean, which is to pass a wheel after each bath. This will prevent the accumulation of water, minerals and waste products.
How to clean the shower cabin with cleaning vinegar
If you have cleaning vinegar per house, you can also use this natural product to leave the shower cabin as new. Take note of the steps taken by Martha Stewart's website:
- Make sure the cabin doors are dry before starting;
- To prepare the vinegar spray, mix 1 part of vinegar with 1 part of water in a spray container. For an extra cleansing power, you can heat the vinegar slightly, but do not let it boil;
- Spray the vinegar solution generously on the glass doors, making sure that it covers areas with visible soap residue or limestone stains;
- Let the solution act for about 10 to 15 minutes allowing the acid to dissolve any mineral deposits. For more difficult spots, increase the time to up to 30 minutes;
- Use a soft sponge or a microfiber cloth to clean the doors. For harder spots sprinkle some sodium bicarbonate on the sponge and rub gently. Light abrasiveness will help remove the waste without scratching the glass;
- Use warm water to rinse the vinegar and loose dirt;
- Wipe the doors with a dry microfiber cloth. A wheel can be useful to avoid water spots;
