At 05:00 TMG (06:00 in Lisbon), Brent, a reference oil in Europe, was quoted at $14.1 in the future London market, after an increase of 0.73% in relation to the closure of Thursday. In the middle of the night, he reached $147.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard revealed that it attacked four ships that, according to Tehran, carried out illegal oil transfers in the Persian Gulf.
In this context, the President of the United States, Donald Trump, accused the Islamic Republic of spreading information about “false attacks” in the Strait of Ormuz in order to raise fuel prices, maintaining that, by this strategic route, more oil flows now than before the conflict.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia reported today that it intercepted a ballistic missile launched against Riyadh by the Huthis rebels of Yemen.
The intercept of the missile against Riyadh was announced after the Huthis claimed, on Thursday, a series of attacks carried out in the last two days against the headquarters of the Saudi Ministry of Defense, installations of Aramco oil state and against the international airports of Abha and Damham. In the latter, two people died.
The attacks by Iran’s allies of Yemen’s Huthis led the United States to order the departure of non-essential government officials and their relatives and to report that the US and Israel are studying a new offensive against Iran after the US legislative elections scheduled for November 3.
