“ Obrigade for so much”. It was with these words that Catalan singer Rosalia said goodbye to Rio de Janeiro, after two sold-out performances, on August 10 and 11 at Farmasi Arena, Rio de Janeiro.
This Thursday, the artist said goodbye to Brazilian lands with a passionate publication, but there were some details that jumped into view.
One of the highlights is the meeting with Caetano Veloso – Rosalia included a photo next to the singer in the dressing room and another to watch the Brazilian artist's show at the Doce Maravilha festival. Finally, the Spanish still shows an autographed copy of “Transa”, a classic album released by Brazilian in 1972.
Caetano Veloso was at Barra da Tijuca last Tuesday, day 12, to watch Rosalía's show at Farmasi Arena. A few days earlier, Rosalia had also attended a Brazilian concert.
The Spanish singer, who has repeatedly been a fan of Caetano, received the artist in the dressing room. In the images shared on social networks, it is seen that both exchanged a few words before the concert.
On stage, at some point, Rosalia paid a tribute to Caetano: “From the culture you have here, my favorite is Caetano. I have a version that I really like about Caetano. I'm a big fan of him. I went to see his show and was very impressed”, he said.
“ It's been years since I've heard it and it still thrills me as much as it did the first day. Seeing him sing the other day really inspired me. A kiss for Master Caetano”, said Rosalia when singing “Un dress y un amor”, by Fito Páez, music that Caetano also has a version.
