Couple arrested in the Guard for sexually abusing their 13-year-old daughter

U. male and female, both 32 years old and foreign nationality, were arrested by the Judicial Police (JP) for suspicion of the practice of domestic violence crimes, use of minor in begging, sexual coercion and sexual abuse of children in the aggravated form, in the Guard. The victim is the daughter of both, who was 13 at the time of the murders. 

In a statement sent to the essays this Wednesday, PJ indicated that the couple was arrested yesterday, but “the facts relate to the year 2024”.

The minor was already institutionalized in the context of a process of domestic violence and use of minor in begging that ran terms in the Public Security Police (PSP). 

However, the institution contacted PJ, “reporting evidence that the child was the victim of sexual abuse by the parent”.

Subsequently, “relevant evidence has been collected in relation to the facts, and the original case has been brought before the case concerning sex crimes”.

The suspects, who were partly uncertain, were located in the city of Guarda and were eventually arrested after issuing their arrest warrants.

The investigation is entitled by the Department of Investigation and Criminal Action (DIAP) of the Guard, where the suspects “are present for the purpose of first judicial interrogation to apply the necessary coercion measures”.
