O singer Rod Stewart, 81, was attending a charity gala of the musical “Sinatra the Musical” with his wife Penny Lancaster, on October 15, at the Aldwych Theatre in the West End of London.

This meeting takes place after having undergone a heart procedure and having cancelled dates of shows of the tour “The Final Encore Tour”.

Asked about his state of health, at the moment, the artist said he is “brilliant”. “I swam 400 meters the other day,” she shared in conversation with The Daily Mail.

Remembering that Rod Stewart underwent medical procedure after interrupting a concert and wearing an oxygen mask, this was after he almost passed out on stage during a concert in Utah last June.

Rod Stewart is now slowing down his pace of work. The singer announced that the tour “The Final Encore Tour”, which will take place in the next 2027, will be the last. However, he ensured that “it will not be reformed”. “It will be the last rock and roll tour.”

“I want to thank you for everything you have given me and I hope I have given you something in return,” he added.

And his last year on tour has a stop in Portugal. The musician will perform at Meo Marés in 2027, more precisely on July 16.

Rod Stewart confirmed at the festival Meo Marés: “A legend of music”

Singer Rod Stewart is Meo Marés' first confirmation 2027. The performance at the festival will be part of the last tour of the British career, called “The Final Encore”, and will take place on 16 July.
