A Asian Football Confederation (AFC) announced in the form of communiqué issued through official platforms at the beginning of the afternoon of this Sunday, the postponement of the meeting of the third day of the group phase of the Champions League, between Al Nassr and Al Wasl, which was scheduled for 6:15 p.m. (hour of Continental Portugal) on Monday, October 26.
The body did not provide any grounds for this rescheduling (for date and hours still to be defined), but as the local television station reports CNN, the same arises following the attacks carried out by Yemeni Houthis rebels on a number of infrastructure, in Saudi Arabia, including Riyadh International Airport, which they consider “a military target”.
The saying the airport only reopened this sunday two of its five terminals ( terminal 1 for domestic flights, and terminal 2 for international flights, with exclusive use by saudi airlines), after one of the attacks that was targeted about two weeks ago caused 13 deaths.
