Kylie Jenner is facing the third case related to former employees. This time a former private chef claims that the workload and conditions at celebrity events led to a miscarriage.
A complaint was filed with the Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday, June 22, as reported by the Los Angeles Times and the USA Today. At the same time, the chef claims that she was subjected to long shifts and “high-pressure tasks”, despite having informed her superiors that she was at high risk.
The cook began working for Kylie Jenner in November 2024 and claims to have informed her superiors that she needed to adapt her work because she was three months pregnant.
The following month, in December 2024, he claims that he had a medical emergency for “loading heavy food,” according to the Times and the USA Today.
On February 1, 2025, the chef claims that she worked at a birthday party for one of the celebrity's children and that she did not receive "adequate support", describing that she was ignored by the superiors when she asked for help, still according to The New York Times.
“ Due to exhaustion and extreme physical effort, [she] had an emotional breakdown in the bathroom during the event”, can be read in the process. “In that night, [she] felt extreme physical exhaustion and weight throughout the body as a result of prolonged and intense workload.”
He was bleeding the next morning, and when he was seen by a medical team, he was informed that he had lost the baby, the Times and the USA Today.
The following week, February 8th, you can read in the complaint, the woman will have been hospitalized again after bleeding. Later, they report, agreed to move to New York. But it's not over here.
The employer of the chef has alleged that the “communication on his medical condition and change” constituted “a voluntary resignation despite his intention to remain in employment”.
The chef will then have received a settlement proposal in May 2025, as well as a contract termination agreement, the Times advances.
People said they tried to contact Tri Star's human resources company, as well as the chef's lawyer or a representative of Kylie Jenner, but they have not received a reply to date.
