“It was abrupt.” Rita Almeida reveals reasons for breaking up with Marcelo

Rita Almeida broke the silence about the end of the relationship with Marcelo Palma. The former competitor of “Secret Story 8” was present this Wednesday, July 1st, in TVI’s “Two at 10”, for a frank interview to reveal what the last months of her life were like.

Rita did not hide that she had a troubled early year due to the death of her friend, Maycon Douglas, and the end of her relationship with Marcelo Palma.

“ Things weren't easy, obviously, it didn't just end. But I wasn't expecting it that way at the time. I wasn't... ", started counting.

The former competitor of Secret Story assumed that the causes of the separation are related to communication failures on both sides and a misalignment of both. 

“ When the relationship ceases to be one of the priorities, it is enough to be out of line.”

“It had nothing to do with third parties, had nothing to do with outside opinions,” he said. 

Questioned by Claudius Ramos hoped that the end of the relationship would happen, Rita Almeida said again that the relationship was going through a difficult time but that she was still surprised by the breakup. “It was very abrupt. Maybe that was it.”

“ At the time, what I felt was soon a little bit of shame of the way it was – how it was being exposed. [...] That was a lot of opinions, a lot of information coming in. [...] There should have been more respect for the end, between the two ", he said, explaining that Marcelo Palma talked about the end of courtship publicly, in an interview, even before the two had talked and ended the relationship. 

“ Things were not right, but first we resolved inside so we had to upholster the two to communicate [the end of the relationship]”, he defended.

Rita Almeida did not exempt herself from guilt at the end of the relationship, but said she was calm because she knew she struggled to make the relationship work. “I changed city for this relationship,” he recalled. 

Rita Almeida and Marcelo Palma met on "Secret Story 8", they started dating on the show and remained united outside the game. The manager reported the breakup in February this year. 

Finally, he confessed that “he ended his passionate relationship”, but at this quiet, well-resolved and focused on his new brand of bikinis: “Rita do Mar”. 

It is recalled that Marcelo Palma is also at a happy time with regard to working life. The former competition of the Secret Story recently opened alongside her friend Jessica Vieira, who also met on the reality show, an aesthetic clinic.
