Os interested in playing the “GTA VI” in the release already have the possibility to pre-purchase the game and ensure that they have a copy available on November 19. This should not be too difficult, as the game will be available in PlayStation and Xbox virtual stores and the physical version will count only with a code to download the gameinstead of a record as usual.

This means that anyone who wants to play “GTA VI” should not face major obstacles and, according to analysts’ perspectives, the next Rockstar Games game should be 2.88 and the €4.54 billion in sales only in the first week. A newzoo analysts estimate who, from conservative perspectives, believe that “GTA VI” can sell about 37 million units during the first week.

The 12 games (required) that are released in the second half of 2026

Judging by the video game launch schedule of the second half of 2026, players will be as pleased as the titles that were released in the first half of the year. In the list is, of course, the much-expected “GTA VI”.

Although they do not advance with official numbers and look with suspicion at the number of pre-sales that have circulated in rumors, analysts say that “GTA VI” had “the strongest start of a pre-sale campaign ever registered” in Newzoo’s internal dataset.

Remember that the fact that “GTA VI” is released only on PlayStation 5 and Xbox One should not be a problem for the game. As the polygon site, when “GTA V” was released (on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2013) sales on the first day generated more than 700 million euros worldwide and in the first month almost 29 million copies of the game were sold.

For when the PC version of “GTA VI”?

It is important to remember that Rockstar Games' strategy to start by launching their games on consoles alone is not exclusive to “GTA VI”. Virtually all the games developed by the producer to this day began to be released first on the consoles and only later on the PC.

In an interview with kiwiTalkz channel on YouTube, a former Rockstar Games producer who worked on “GTA V” and “Red Dead Redemption”, John Ricchio, explained that this practice is due to the desire to launch an optimized game, leaving for later the focus on the PC version – where a technically more advanced version can be released.

Launch of “GTA VI” is having a curious side effect. Look

The release of “GTA VI” is scheduled for November 19th and is, until the date of publication of this piece, one of the few – or even the only – great release of this month. On the other hand, September is especially “competition”.

“ It is always better to start with the limitations [of consoles] and then expand”, explained Ricchio. “ Because compression is much harder than expanding. It's much harder to make your game efficient than just to think: ‘Do we have extra space? Great, we can deoptimist some things or make others more beautiful’”.

It is practically guaranteed that “GTA VI” will be entitled to a PC version, especially given that the game should eventually rely on an online mode and that Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive publisher should want to maximize the number of players including PC.

It is not yet known when “GTA VI” will be released on PC, but looking at the last two Rockstar Games games, it is believed that the producer will do so within a maximum of two years.

“GTA V” was released for PC in 2015, two years after the original release. However, in the case of “Red Dead Redemption II”, released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2018, the PC arrival took place in 2019.
