Fhi precisely a year ago, on July 3, 2025, which was given news of the death of Diogo Jota and, in the form of tribute, EA Sports announced that it decided to name the Portuguese player the trophy of the World Championship of FC Pro.
Through a publication on the official website of “EA Sports FC” on social network X, it was reported that the competition trophy will be called Diogo Jota FC Pro World Championship Trophy.

It is known that this trophy will be raised for the first time in this year's edition of the FC Pro World Championship, which will take place during this summer.

Remember that Diogo Jota was a known fan of football video games, with EA Sports already paying tribute to the Portuguese player last year with a special initiative.
