Maya Hawke buys house next to her mother's estate, Uma Thurman

Maya Hawke married Christian Lee Hutson at a surprise ceremony on Valentine's Day in New York on February 14, and now the couple has taken a new step in the relationship.

The American actress and model told People magazine that she recently bought a house in New York State, which is close to her mother's estate, Uma Thurman. 

“ I just bought a house a few blocks from my mother’s house,” he said. “I’m very happy to finally start rooting,” he added. 

Maya Hawke is currently recording a new project, "The God of the Woods", which is an adaptation of Liz Moore's 2024 best-selling novel. “The filming is in the city where I grew up,” he said. 

“ I'm so excited to be home doing a job that I love and that I care about, so I'm not in that panic spiral because I'm at home and thinking, ‘When am I going back to work?’. Usually it's like this: either you're home and you panic because you don't know if you're going back to work, or you're not home, you're working and you miss home. I feel like I'm living the best summer of my life, in which I don't have to go through any of these situations at the same time ", confessed. 

Remember that Maya Hawke is the daughter of Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke, who were married between 1998 and 2005. The former couple still has in common the son Levon Roan Thurman-Hawke, 24 years old.

Ethan Hawke is still the father of two 15-year-old Indiana and Clementine of 17, and both are the result of her marriage to Ryan Shawhughes Hawke.

Maya Hawke's marriage to Christian Lee Hutson 

Together since 2023, Maya Hawke and Christian Lee Hutson have tied the knot in the St. George Episcopal Church at Stuyvesant Square in Manhattan.

After the ceremony, as Fame to the Minute reported at the time, the guests went to the party at The Players, a private club for members in Gramercy Park.

This special day was attended by several faces of “Stranger Things” – the Netflix success series of which Maya is part.
