Mercedes-AMG A 45 S 4Matic+ is leaving the market and says goodbye with a special edition. It has several unique details at the decorative level, keeping its mechanical essence with a record-breaking engine.

Nthe time to say goodbye to the market, the hot hatch Mercedes-AMG A 45 S 4Matic+ appears with a special edition Final Edition – that celebrates its success.
This claims to be the model with the most powerful four-cylinder turbocharged engine in serial production in the world: a 2,0 litres with 421 hp power and 500 Maximum torque Nm, able to get the car to speed 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. Maximum speed is limited to 270 km/h. The sport has intelligent integral traction as well as an eight-speed ATM Speedshift DCT-8G and AMG Performance 4Matic+ with AMG Torque Control that distributed power between each of the axes selectively.
In this special edition, the A 45 S 4Matic+ stands out for the grey Mountain Grey Magno painting of Manufaktur, with door handles in dark chrome. The 19-inch black matte forged rims with cross-rays, yellow AMG tampons and bright black brake clamps with blank AMG inscription are other details.
For improved aerodynamic performance, the celebratory model appears as a series with the AMG Aerodynamics Package. We found a larger splitter on the front bumper, more bright black fins – the same color that marks the roof spoiler and the diffuser blade, as well as the additional fins of the posterior bumper.
The outer rear-view mirrors have covers in a diamond black pattern with yellow contour. Mercedes-AMG also capped the silver chrome fuel tank with the designation AMG. Name 45 S appears on the front doors in yellow, black and white.
The AMG Night Pack and Night Pack II are included, with the radiator grill fins and dark chrome emblems, chrome-plated escape tips or bright black friezes, for example.
When entering Mercedes-AMG A 45 S 4Matic+, we see leather upholstery Artificial artic and microfiber Microcut in black – with contrasting yellow elements, including benches and door panels. There are carpets where you can read the model's name.
Headrests ahead appear with 45 emblems S embroidery, the threshold of the doors being black in an AMG pattern with the illuminated logo. The steering wheel is in Nappa leather and Microcut with decorative seams in yellow, while the central console incorporates the badge 45 S Final Edition.
Prices and availability
We still don't know when or if the new Mercedes-AMG 45 S Final Edition will arrive in Portugal. Already custom in the UK, it comes for almost 68,000 pounds (EUR 79.5 thousand).
