“I wasn’t always there.” Monica Sintra celebrates her son's conquest

Mónica Sintra is a drooling mother. The singer showed her pride in the course of her only son, Duarte, who now finished the ninth year and prepares to embrace a new phase of academic life. 

In a rare sharing, the artist showed images of the teenager next to her and still receiving the diploma of completion of this stage. 

“There are moments that have seen the page of a life. Moments that are kept forever. Moments when we realize that a new stage begins and that from there we begin to write the future. Our future. And that's what happened to Duarte today. Yeah, my boy finished ninth grade and got his degree.

When I look back, I see a path made up of achievements, learning and also some challenges. It wasn't always easy. I didn't always get to be present in all the disciplines. And I'm not just talking about math, Portuguese or any other subject. I speak of the most important discipline of all: the physical presence ", started by explaining the interpreter.

Monica recalled the moments when she was most absent due to “work” where “distance was inevitable”. “But there is something that has never been distant: love. This one was always there. Every day. Every gesture. Every concern. In every hug. I will be eternally grateful that you walked with us and that you were part of this important stage,” Mónica Sintra added. 

Duarte now goes on vacation and in September enters an important phase of academic life: secondary education. “Now a new phase begins. A phase of discoveries, dreams, choices and those that will undoubtedly be some of the best years of his life. The years you'll find friends who can stay forever, build true friendships and begin to realize who you want to be in the future. But above all else, I hope you will always be guided by your heart. And I'm so grateful for the beautiful, sweet, generous heart Duarte has. Congratulations, son! Let pride continue to be the word most associated with your existence.
