Nthe first three months of the fiscal year, the company detailed that operational profit more than doubled, reaching 142,596 million yen (about eur 783 million).
Nevertheless, turnover decreases by 9.5% compared to 2025, to 517,813 million yen (about EUR 2,842 million).
In the presentation of the results, the company explained that the increase in profits was due to “an increase in non-operational revenues, including foreign exchange gains”.
Nintendo reported that it received 300 million US dollars (about 260 million euros) in return for customs duties, after the United States Supreme Court annulled in February the “reciprocal” fees imposed by Donald Trump’s Administration.
Nintendo maintained the forecast for the rest of the year, which will end in March 2027, and stated that it hopes to achieve a net profit of 310,000 million yen (about EUR 1,701 million).
