The Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 4Matic+ was officially presented this Thursday (9 July), being a car 100 percent electric with 680 hp that accelerates to 100 km/h in less than three seconds.

ANDthere's the new one Mercedes-Benz CLA 45 4Matic+. It is the high-performance variant of Mercedes-Benz CLA, which was considered the European Car of the Year 2026 a few months ago. It'll be available as a Berlina and as a Shooting Brake van.
Totally electric, has three axial flow engines debuted at the AMG GT Coupé four doors (two behind and one ahead). Together, they charge 680 hp of power and 1,759 Binary Nm – which allows you to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds and reach 250 km/h (or 270 km/h, with the AMG Dynamic Plus package).
The 94 kWh battery provides a combined autonomy WLTP of 670 km/h (berlina) and 640 km/h (Shooting Brake). By fast loading to powers of up to 330 kW, it can be recharged from 10 to 80 percent in 22 minutes, and ten minutes can arrive to recover 270 km of autonomy.
Although it is 100% electric, it has the characteristic sound of a four-cylinder AMG engine thanks to AMG Force S+ – a driving mode that is also associated with the simulation of box passes with traction interruption in each one.
It is an integral traction car with the fully variable distribution system AMG Performance 4Matic+, which distributes power continuously through the three electric motors that are independently controlled.
Each axis has a high performance electric drive (HP.EDU), and the back includes the two engines of this axis and the respective planetary gearboxes of a single speed. The front engine is a 360-cv “booster” and can be switched off via the Disconnection Unit when it is not necessary to provide greater efficiency.
The front suspension is three-armed and behind is a multiarm system. AMG Dynamic Select includes six driving modes (Slippery, Comfort, Sport, AMG Force S+, Eco and Individual – in which settings can be adapted by the driver as you prefer. With AMG Dynamic Plus, there is also the most sporty Race mode. A button on the steering wheel allows adjusting the accelerator pedal response curve and ESP tuning.
There's active aerodynamics

Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 4Matic+ has active aerodynamics, with a active spoiler on the berlin and a spoiler on the edge of the roof shooting Brake in black. These mechanisms may be at different angles according to the mode of conduction selected to favor stability or decrease aerodynamic drag. Then there are active fins in the front radiator.
The radiator grid is specific AMG, with ten vertical bars in bright chrome or dark chrome plated and the star Mercedes-Benz to the center on a bright black panel. The splitter is integrated with the air curtains in front of the wheels and there are wide fenders on the front.
The hood is elongated, with the shape of a shark's nose, and rims can be light alloy or optionally forged: 19 inches series or 20 inches as an option. It is possible to include, on request, a continuous light band in front of it with an illuminated radiator grid. The Shooting Brake variant has the typical roof line, which goes flat to the rear. The panoramic roof is a series.
Behind, there is a wide bumper and a diffuser that contribute to the sporty aspect of the model. The same can be said for the red brake clamps with AMG inscription in black of the AMG Dynamic Plus package (or black with blank inscription).
The automobile measures 4,742 mm long, 1,859 mm wide and 1,469 mm high (1.471 mm in Shooting Brake), with 2.790 mm wheelbase and a weight of 2,355 kg (2.370 kg in the case of Shooting Brake).

Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 4Matic+ proposes sports seats, with a firm side support ahead and a coating that combines Artic leather with leather appearance Nappa and microfiber Microcut in black. The red seams give a typical touch of AMG.
You can also choose Artico and Microcut in combination black and white pearl with red seams. Or even synthetic leather and microcut in black/red. The interior upholstery can also be in black, brown, having details in green and contrasting sewing. There is a combination of black with seams and contrasting yellow inserts. The red Manufaktur seat belts are optional, with black and silver aluminum finishes.
Driver grabs an AMG steering wheel Nappa skin performance with contrasting seams, to match the upholstery of the seats. Optional are the steering wheels in Microcut and Nappa/Microcut. Sports pedals in stainless steel brushed with rubber pins, black front mats with AMG inscription, ceiling lining in black fabric and front soles in brushed stainless steel with AMG inscription.
The multi-function steering wheel has a competitive appearance, including buttons to select modes and driving programs. Behind there are “Boost” chops.
The front seats of series have vibratory mechanisms that, in AMG Force S+ mode, emit vibrations to simulate those associated with internal combustion engines. Optional are the AMG banks Performance with integrated headrests and larger, heated side supports with memory functions. These are coated in Artico or Artico/Microcut with leather finish.
Who travels in the new Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 4Matic+ accesses the fourth generation of MBUX, finding a continuous screen area at all front width (the “Hyperscreen”). There's the MB.OS operating system, in which it's the first artificial intelligence information system ChatGPT, Google Gemini and Microsoft Bing. There is voice assistance (Virtual Assistant MBUX) able to maintain complex dialogues, appearing as an avatar on the screen.
The trunk has 390 liters of capacity, being complemented by a front frunk under the hood with 101 liters.
