When I was little: I would never have “played with gunpowder or explosives”

Idid you imagine that the person in the old photograph is Jorge Salgueiro of the Sons do Minho duo? The artists will perform on July 11 at the Festival of Food Continent, which will take place once again in the Park of the City, Porto. 

In conversation with Notícias ao Minuto, the singer stated that this initiative of the Continent “is great”. “I’m sure we’ll have a great party, so we invite everyone to be there on July 11.”

On the schedule of concerts of the duo, Jorge Salgueiro shared that “it is good, equivalent to 2025”. “We go with everything, with all the energy for the road now from the month of June.”

The Sons of Minho are a duo composed by Jorge Salgueiro and Pi d’Areosa. Both of them have side business, as they said in conversation with Minute News. 

And to reconcile all projects, they say, “the family is the pillar”. “They also help us in all the business we have, including the Minho Sons project. Where everyone helps is easier, but it is not easy ", confessed Jorge Salgueiro. 

The double business in other different areas, such as the depilation of leisure, and also an audiovisual company. “We try to reconcile in the best way with a huge team, which we value very much and have been busy and come here with the help of all.”

The favorite dish in childhood (and who prepared it) and the food that you did not like and that you now like?

I still like it. Chicken rice and my mother was the one who made it. 

I didn't like cod, because I'm from the cod liver oil age to develop. It was a vitamin product. You took a couple of gallons of that and I hated cod. I really like it today. 

What were the best vacations when you were little?

By the impossibility of my parents, the best vacations were always at home. We weren't going anywhere. I never went on vacation in my childhood. My vacation was at home, in the river with my friends, playing on the street... The first time I went on vacation I was 18. 

What day did you come back as a child? And why?

I guess I'd go back to childhood just to be younger 40 years. Ten-year-old was good for me. Today, on second thought, I'd have to have the same parents I had. They couldn't be modern parents like today. That's the only way to make me the man I am today. Otherwise it was impossible.
